HSIWES+ TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HYBRID INTERNSHIP CHANNEL<\/span> <\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

1. Introduction<\/b><\/span><\/p>

This document contains all Terms and Conditions for SIWES participants for our\u00a0<\/span>Hybrid Internship Channel\u00a0<\/span>in HiiT PLC. This is, however, in addition to those of your Institution’s and Industrial Training Fund’s (ITF) regulations in respect of SIWES.<\/span><\/p>

2. Dynamics of our\u00a0<\/span>Hybrid Internship Channel\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>

2.1\u00a0<\/span>Although your Areas of Specialization (AOS) Courses, Success Enhancing Capacity Building\u00a0<\/span>trainings and Industry Trending Technologies webinars are conducted online only, you will\u00a0<\/span>however be required to attend Project Team activities twice a month onsite at your chosen HiiT\u00a0<\/span>PLC<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s Branch as will advised on your Internship Program Timetable.<\/span><\/p>

2.2. You are required to sign-in to our Online Instructor-Led Class using a laptop or Desktop Computer as indicated on the Timetable. You are also advised to choose an Internet Service Provider or Data Service Provider best suited to your location to minimize connectivity related challenges.<\/span><\/p>

2.3 During registration on our HOT Portal, www.hiit.ng, you are responsible for your choice of Username and Password to access the Learning Management System (LMS).<\/span><\/p>

2.4 The Class Host will make available the class access Link to sign-in to the Instructor-Led Class at least 30mins before the Class commencement time. Alternatively, Intern can use the Live Class link via the LMS to join the Class.<\/span><\/p>

3. HSIWES+ Training Contents<\/b><\/span><\/p>

To succeed in our HSIWES+ Internship, it is mandatory to participate in the following via HiiT\u00a0<\/span>Training Institute\u2019s (HTI) HiiT Online Training (HOT) portal www.hiit.ng as will be indicated in your Internship Program\u2019s Timetable:<\/span><\/p>

3.1 Your Areas of Specialization (AOS) Courses (as you have selected during Registration with HTI).<\/span><\/p>

3.2 Digital Literacy Course.
3.3 Digital Marketing Course.
3.4 Emotional Intelligence Capacity Building webinar (Once Monthly). 3.5 Entrepreneurship Capacity Building webinar (Once Monthly).
3.6 Industry Trending Technologies webinar (Once in 3 Months).<\/span><\/p>

4. Onsite\/Workplace Attendance Requirements<\/b><\/span><\/p>

You are required to attend Interactive Sessions for Team Project Activities at your chosen HiiT\u00a0<\/span>PLC\u2019s branch\u00a0<\/span>twice every month.\u00a0<\/span>See details in your Internship Program\u2019s Timetable.<\/span><\/p><\/div>

5. Logbook Management<\/b><\/span><\/p>

5.1 You are expected to update your Logbook daily based on your accomplishment of our assigned daily activities and submit daily digitally in accordance with our guidance which will provided on resumption.<\/span><\/p>

5.2 Every Intern is to submit his\/her Logbook to the Business Manager for necessary administrative action at every scheduled onsite attendance session to his\/her chosen HiiT PLC Branch\u00a0<\/span>twice a month.<\/span><\/p>

6. Your Institution Supervisor\u2019s Visitation<\/b><\/span><\/p>

It is your personal responsibility to make yourself available for your institution\u2019s Supervisor\u2019s visit to your registered HiiT PLC\u2019s branch. And since the information in this respect is directly to you\u00a0<\/span>from your Supervisor, our limited role is to welcome your Supervisor to accomplish his\/her official duties.<\/span><\/p>

7. Our Responsibility in respect of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Statutory Forms<\/b><\/span><\/p>

7.1 Student Commencement of Attachment Form (SCAF)- You are to submit your SCAF for administrative action by us within two (2) weeks of commencement of your internship.<\/span><\/p>

7.2 ITF Form 8\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 You are to complete \u2018Part A\u2019 of the ITF\u2019s Form<\/span>-8 and submit to us to complete\u00a0<\/span>\u2018Part B\u2019, and we thereafter return it to you to submit to your Institution for further action.<\/span><\/p>

8. HSIWES+ T-Shirt and F\/Cap and other Souvenirs<\/b><\/span><\/p>

You are entitled to a set of HSIWES+ T-Shirt and F\/Cap and other HiiT Souvenirs approved by management from time-to-time. You should therefore request for them during one of your\u00a0<\/span>onsite visits to your chosen HiiT PLC\u2019s Branch.<\/span><\/p>

9. General Behavioral Responsibilities<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Interns must adhere strictly to HiiT PLC’s corporate policies which includes decorum, respect for authority, etc. Misdemeanors such as rudeness, insubordination, intimidation of others, forgery and posting of inappropriate content in social spaces are prohibited.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
