This Specialty is one of the most well-established fields in technology. Participants will learn how to set up wide area networks, local area networks with Cisco routers, and switches. Participants will also learn how to repair, maintain & troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers.

Frontend Engineering

Front-end engineers work closely with designers to make websites beautiful, functional, and fast. This Specialty Path will teach you not only the necessary languages and technologies, but how to think like a front-end engineer, too. By the end, you’ll have the portfolio and interview skills you need to start your new career.

Backend Engineering

No matter what you’re building, having a strong foundation is crucial — that’s where back-end engineers come in. In this area of specialization, you’ll start with programming servers and client-side interfaces, then level up to designing databases. By the end, you’ll have everything you need to start your career as a back-end engineer.

Cybersecurity

This Specialty is designed to guide participants with the tools and techniques used by hackers and information security professionals alike to break into an organization’s information technology system. As we put it, “To beat a hacker, you need to think like a hacker”. This path will immerse participants into the Hacker Mindset so that they will be able to defend against future attacks.

Data Analysis

Businesses generate tons of information, but they don’t always know how to make use of it. So they look to masters of big data to make sense of it all. In this specialty, you will gain step-by-step guidance on how to use the tools needed to surface business-critical information to the organization.

Cloud Engineering

This specialty is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the services offered by AWS including compute, storage, networking, database, and identity & access management (IAM).
